I’d like to issue a Freedom of Information request for the following information:
• The total number of CCTV cameras at stations (underground + overground)
• The total number of CCTV cameras you had in 2019 (underground + overground)

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 5 July 2022, asking for information about the number of CCTV cameras at London Overground and London Underground stations.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
For the current year 2022, the total number of CCTV cameras at London Underground stations is 14,595 and approximately 3,114 at London Overground stations.
In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
