Our ref: FOI-0809-2425
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 08 June 2024 asking for information about bus route R6.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. You asked:
I would like to know whether TFL will be saving anything by scrapping route R6 and if so, how much per annum.
The scheme that withdraws R6 will include an extension of the route B14. As it increases the efficiency of the network there will be an increase in service provision of about 25,000 scheduled bus kilometres per year. Overall, we estimate it would save about £166,000 after revenue is taken into account.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely,
