Data
- Weekly iBus data for the following weeks: 26 May 2023 – 7th June 2024
- calculate average journey times by route for the above road sections. These journey times should exclude dwell times at stops.
- calculate this separately for the following time periods: AM , Inter-peak, PM
Calculating corridor averages
- Journey times should first be summarised by route (i.e. 3 vs 201), by taking the total journey time across stop-to-stop links along the corridor and dividing by the length of these links, to give a minutes per kilometre figure.
- Corridor level figures should then be found by taking a weighted average across the route level figures, weighted by the route frequency.
