Request ID: FOI-0779-2324 Date published: 07 July 2023
You asked
Dear TFL,
some time ago you have provided me access to a BI report regarding the usageof the tube stations:
https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiMjZjMmQwYTktZjYxNS00MTIwLTg0ZjAtNWIwNGE0ODMzZGJhIiwidCI6IjFmYmQ2NWJmLTVkZWYtNGVlYS1hNjkyLWEwODljMjU1MzQ2YiIsImMiOjh9
The report worked fine until the 8th of may. Since then, there seems to be no update on the data. Is this an error or is there maybe a new report where I can receive the data from?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12th June 2023 asking for information about London Underground station usage.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:

I can confirm that we hold the information you require, which is provided in the attached spreadsheet. This provides the requested data daily by station type, from 8th May 2023 to 4th July 2023. Note that we have updated the source for this data compared to that used in the PowerBI report cited in your request. It now includes paper tickets and all Contactless and Oyster taps made anywhere within the station (including passenger validators). The COVID PowerBI equivalent was Oyster and Contactless use only from the readers at the gates in ticket halls. Note also that TfL is no longer intending to update the PowerBI report, which was specifically introduced for insight on London Underground use during the pandemic.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
