Dear Transport for London FOI team I have questions about ticketing during the heritage train journey event, which was held on the Piccadilly line between Acton Town and Heathrow Airport, which took place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023. https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/whats-on/heritage-events/heritage-train-journeys-tube-160-birthday-special 1. How many purchases of the One Day Travelcard (inboundary and outboundary) were made on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023? 2. How many platform tickets were sold at stations between Acton Town and Heathrow on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023? 3. How many missing entry/exit and maximum fares were made on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023 on pay as you go (PAYG) Oyster and contactless cards? 4. How many maximum fares on PAYG Oyster and contactless were fixed/refunded during Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023? 5. What advice was given to PAYG Oyster and contactless card holders attending the heritage train event to avoid the maximum fares due to your PAYG maximum journey time policy? 6. Can I obtain all the ephemera and information guides in relation to the Heritage Train Journeys event on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 11 June 2023 asking for information about ticketing during the Heritage Train Journeys: Tube 160 Birthday Special on 10th and 11th June 2023.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

1. How many purchases of the One Day Travelcard (inboundary and outboundary) were made on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023?
66 Anytime Day Travelcard and 19,531 Off-Peak Day Travelcards.

2. How many platform tickets were sold at stations between Acton Town and Heathrow on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023?
No platform tickets were sold at any of these stations on these dates.

3. How many missing entry/exit and maximum fares were made on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023 on pay as you go (PAYG) Oyster and contactless cards?

No specific advice was given – the LTM always points people to the TfL website for advice regarding travel to and from our venues and events.

6. Can I obtain all the ephemera and information guides in relation to the Heritage Train Journeys event on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023?
