Thank you for your email received by us on 22 June 2018 asking for information about London Underground’s Metropolitan line.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I apologise for the delay in replying. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

Whilst we do not recognise the term ‘executives’, I can advise that the Metropolitan line management changed in September 2017 in line with a company transformation, and five Metropolitan line senior managers received performance awards collectively totalling £19,009 in 2017. These senior managers covered both operations and maintenance.

The managers’ performance targets are based on ‘lost customer hours’, which is a measure of the impact on passengers of delays to London Underground services. Information on lost customer hours for each line is published in the LU Performance Almanac at: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/underground-services-performance

We also publish senior management salaries and performance awards via the link below to our website, which can be found under the following titles in the 2017 spreadsheet:
https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/senior-staff

This applies to the following roles:

Fleet Manager
Performance Manager
Performance Manager
Line General Manager
Senior Project Manager
