Could you please provide information on the number of traffic lights that support Selective Vehicle Detection (SVD), and if they're enabled to provide bus priority. Specifically could you answer these questions.
1. The number of lights supporting SVD
2. The number of lights providing bus priority
3. The location of lights supporting & providing bus priority
4. The bus routes benefiting from SVD
Questions are in order of interest if providing data places an undue burden on TfL.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 15 July 2021 asking for information about the number of traffic lights that support Selective Vehicle Detection (SVD), and if they're enabled to provide bus priority. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. Your questions and our replies are as follows:
1. The number of lights supporting SVD – 1,841 2. The number of lights providing bus priority – 1,838 (not including sites currently with faulty equipment) 3. The location of lights supporting & providing bus priority - Please find attached two data sheets showing the locations of lights supporting SVD and the locations of lights providing bus priority. 4. The bus routes benefiting from SVD - Please see attached List A.
