Our ref: FOI-0756-1617/GH
Thank you for your email received on 27 June 2017 asking for information about the Cycle Superhighway 7(CS7) in Stockwell.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
Please find attached a zip file containing the records held in relation to Service Ticket 7332865 (see ‘ST7332865’ and ‘ST7332865 notes’). The investigation report and documentation relating to the surface of the cycle lane and the remedial works subsequently conducted in 2017 are also attached.
Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA), personal information such as the names of non-TfL employees, direct email addresses and direct telephone numbers have been removed from the attached documents, as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the DPA, specifically the first principle of the DPA which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions of Schedule 2 of the Data Protection Act which would make the processing ‘fair’.
We now publish anonymised versions of FOI requests and responses on the www.tfl.gov.uk website, and therefore your name and contact details have also been redacted from the attachments to protect your right to privacy.
In relation to your question on the procurement of the contractor services, TfL awarded the contract to Kier Highways who used a subcontractor WJ Linkline for these works. We do not hold any further information on this sub-contractor.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
