You asked

I wish to know were each grade stands in the pecking order heirarchy and the bay band each belongs to: Salary for Line General Manager Salary for Performance Manager (compliance manager) - If these titles no longer exist then the salaries of the equivalent counterparts The salary grades and salaries for – Operations Manager Senior Operations Manager Asset Director Customer Care Director Service Director Chief Operating Manager The title of the person in charge of LUL operations below the MD.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 7th July 2021 asking for information about London Underground salaries and pay bands.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked to know:
Salary for Line General Manager
Salary for Performance Manager (compliance manager) - If these titles no longer exist then the salaries of the equivalent counterparts
The salary grades and salaries for –
Operations Manager
Senior Operations Manager
Asset Director
Customer Care Director
Service Director
Chief Operating Manager
The title of the person in charge of LUL operations below the MD.”
Please see the attached spreadsheet that provides the requested information so far as we hold it (note that you may need to expand the width of some columns to read the data in full). Many of the job titles you list no longer exist (due to restructuring, for example) and no exact equivalent exist. Note also that the term “Operations Manager” is a generic term that could relate to a large number of roles within LU. If you can be more specific as to which particular role this element of your request relates to we can consider the matter further if required. The job title of the person in charge of LUL operations below the MD is the “Director of Customer Operations”.
