Thank you for your email of 23 June 2017 asking for information about Private Hire vehicles and drivers.

 

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. You asked:

 

How many Private Hire vehicles are licensed by your authority which hold Sheffield city council post code to date?

 

How many Taxi and Private Hire drivers are licensed by your authority which hold Sheffield city council post code to date?

 

How many Private Hire vehicles are licensed by your authority which hold Sheffield city council post code to date?

 

For the above information request I would like a full breakdown for from January 2010 to 23rd June 2017?

 

Some relevant data was provided to you in our response to a previous FOI request you have made (FOI-1749-1617). In addition, it is our intention to publish data on this topic in the near future and therefore in accordance with the FOI Act, TfL is not obliged to supply you with the information you have requested as it is subject to a statutory exemption to the right of access to information, under Section 22 of the Act.
