Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18 June 2018 asking for information about the London Transport Museum.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
The London Transport Museum use the same back office finance SAP system as TfL as they are part of TfL.
1.What ERP (Enterprise Resource Management) or Finance system is currently used?
TfL uses SAP ECC 6.0 as its main finance system
2.When does your contract expire?
The renewal anniversary for the support and maintenance on the SAP licences is 31/03/2019
3.Do you have any planned upgrades of the software? If so, when?
We are reviewing the business case to upgrade the Supply Chain elements of SAP and anticipate we may have to upgrade the core Finance system between 2021 and 2024
4.Are you planning to go to market for a different ERP/ Finance system? If so, when?
TfL are in the process of developing a long-term ERP strategy. Should the strategy indicate a tender process TfL will undertake an early market engagement and engage the market under the EU Procurement Regulations.
5.How many users / licenses of the system do you have?
For SAP Finance we have approximately 500 users and for HR purposes approximately 19,000.
6.Who is the person responsible for your ERP / Finance system? Please provide full name, title and contact information if possible?
