Although the incoming bus departed Aldwych on time it got delayed by heavy traffic in central London and arrived at Heathrow Central Bus Station half an hour later than scheduled. Furthermore, while performing the incoming trip the bus got soiled, so it became unsuitable for further operation and was required to be taken back to Stamford Brook garage where it was swapped with another bus. The 01:41 service was therefore unable to depart Heathrow T5 on time due to the late arrival of that substitute bus. The next available trip departed Heathrow T5 on time.
