Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 8th June 2019 asking for information about penalty notices issued under the ULEZ scheme.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
You asked:
“Please proivde a daily breakdown of the number of ULEZ scheme penalty notices issued since its introduction on 8th April 2019 up to and including 8th June 2019”.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require, which is shown in the table below. Note that as the scheme was so new, between 8th April 2019 and 10th May 2019 we issued warning notices rather than penalties to drivers seen in the Ultra Low Emission Zone in non-compliant vehicles. A small number of penalties were issued in error during this period and these will be cancelled.
