Please could you release the documentation or correspondence which supports this delivery estimate. This could be between TfL officers or between the supplier and TfL. It could be emails or could be contained in a reporting or governance document. If there is not evidence to back up your previous statement or it is not possible to supply within your obligations under the act please could you provide the previous two programme update / reports / oversight papers produced for the accountable / senior responsible officer which contain as a topic of discussion the delivery date for these class 710 trains on the Chingford Line.

Please find the attached email dated 8 May on which we based our statement that the “first of the new trains will be available for the London Overground route to Chingford towards the end of 2018”.

Please note the “14th Unit Provisional Acceptance (AC Only )” in the attached email is the salient line as Unit 15-on will be deployed on the Liverpool Street to Chingford, Enfield Town and Cheshunt routes.  

I would also refer you to our recent press release that states that the first 8 trains will be introduced onto the Gospel Barking Line and that the roll-out will continue on the Watford to Euston line and on services out of Liverpool Street to Cheshunt, Chingford and Enfield Town.
