Do any DLR stations contain any asbestos containing materials and trains?

We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-0677-2223

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20 June 2022, asking for information about asbestos at DLR stations and trains.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and our information access policy.  I can confirm TfL does hold the information you require.

There isn’t any asbestos in the DLR stations or the current DLR stock. Please see a recently published EIR response on this subject, available on the TfL website via this link.
