Request ID: FOI-0673-2122 Date published: 29 July 2021
You asked
I have seen TfL Ref: FOI-1188-2021 (below) and I am hereby requesting an update to that FOI to the latest data available including confirmation of actual spend in 20/21 (“up to £9.9m in FOI-1949-2021”) and Budgets for 21/22 including actual spend for Q1 21/22 if available. FOI-1743-2021 also says TfL allocated £2m in 20/21 for the Temporary River Crossing at Hammersmith Bridge– please confirm the actual 20/21 spend and the planned budget for 21/22.
Please can you also answer the following specific questions. FOI-1188-2021 shows a total TfL sum below of £16.675m, but the blue table of Contractor spends adds up to only £7.605m. Has any of the additional £9.07m of TfL spend (or spend subsequent to that FOI) been via payments to LBHF who then pay for contractors, and if so how much by year (updated for 20/21 please)?

In respect of the breakdown of spend set out in FOI-1188-2021, all of the spend pre-2019/20 was on funding provided by TfL to the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (LBHF) through the Local Implementation Plan (LIP) funding process for the activities set out in the ‘Reason’ column. However, TfL does not hold information on any payments LBHF made to contractors from these amounts. You will have to contact them directly for this information. Please note the above figures do not include costs from the Hammersmith Bridge Ferry project which is a different project.
