Thank you for your request received by us on 3 June 2019 asking for information about local highways maintenance spending from 2007.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You requested the following:

I am currently looking at highways maintenance funding and unable to find any published data for London.

Block funding is available by county/unitary authority via the dft website along with road lengths and condition. Data by borough for London however isn't.

In November 2018 the dft published the roads funding information pack which now includes the London boroughs on page 23. This is in essence, but historically the information I am after.

I would be grateful if you could send me the information with the highway maintenance by borough from 2007 up until the latest dft report covering 2018.
