Thank you for your request received on 11 June 2018 asking for information about route 105.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.

Please find the requested information attached, which contains route 105 data starting from 01/01/2018 and up to 13/06/2018 (one for each direction).

Route 105 is advertised to customers as 24-hour route, however we record the services as 105 (day operations) and N105 (night operations). The dataset includes data for both 105 and N105.

Route 105 is a High Frequency route and therefore is managed to run at equal intervals rather that adherence to the schedule. We have provided scheduled headways and actual headways for convenience. Both headways figures are in seconds.

‘Unscheduled’ trips appear if there are more than one unique trip number on a service day. This is mostly due to buses covering another trip or running in addition to the main service. All unscheduled trips are clearly marked in the dataset.

Some actual times may be missing in the dataset. This is mostly due to buses not being logged in properly into the system (such trips are marked as ‘Operated, no time available’) or not running (such trips are marked as ‘Lost trip / trip segment’). No indication is given if the lost segment equates to the whole trip or affects only a few stops (e.g. due to curtailment).

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please feel free to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
