I'm a member of the Committee for The Academy Residents Association in Vauxhall, London. The Victoria Line runs underneath our development. On Wednesday 14th March some maintenance work was done on the track which included "grinding". They made 8 passes over the track which from my understanding of previous similar work was a higher number of passes than is usually the case. The maintenance had a very positive effect in reducing the amount of noise. I would like to know who was in charge of the maintenance on this particular day, who made the decision about the number of passes so that we can pass onto them how effective this work has been.
