TfL Ref: FOI-0630-1920
Thank you for your request received by TfL on 30th May 2019 asking for information about research carried out in relation to bus stop boarders.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Research was carried out in 2016 in regard to three bus stops on Blackhorse Road, Waltham Forest. I attach a slide deck outlining the results of that work, produced in April 2017. Note that some further comprehensive research on this subject, across a number of boroughs, is currently underway but is not expected to be completed until Autumn 2019.
