We answered
Our Ref: FOI-0617-1819
Thank you for your further request received on 7 June 2018 asking for information about penalty charge notices (PCNs) issued on Wandsworth High Street and West Hill.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
On 18 May 2018, between 13:30 and 14:30, we issued nine PCNs to vehicles which were observed entering and stopping in the yellow box junction when prohibited on West Hill in front of the fire station emergency exit; this generated £585 in revenue. We issued four PCNs to vehicles contravening on Wandsworth High Street; two were for stopping in a red box when prohibited, one was for stopping on a single red line when prohibited and one was stopping on double red lines when prohibited. This generated £260 in revenue.
Information about our income and expenditure is published in our Annual Reports and Statements of Accounts, which are available on our website:
https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/annual-report
In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, TfL is not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
All net revenue generated from PCNs is reinvested straight into ongoing improvements to the Capital’s transport infrastructure. The 2017-18 Annual Report is expected to be published later this summer.
