Freedom of Information request - London Underground station delays

Request ID: FOI-0600-2122
Date published: 14 July 2021

You asked

Dear Transport for London, I would like to make a FOI request regarding historical station status data. In particular, I'd like to access data regarding i) planned stations' closures; ii) un-planned stations' closures; iii) incidents that cause service disruption. I'm going to use this dataset to analyze delays and disruption in relation with passenger demand. It would be perfect if you could provide the time span starting from 1st july 2019 to 1st July 2021. If this information is not available at station level, it could suffice at line level

Our ref: FOI-0600-2122/GH

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 22 June 2021 asking for information about London Underground station delays.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

Please find attached a spreadsheet showing planned station/L&E closures.  The second spreadsheet provides a list of incidents which caused disruption to services and unplanned station closures.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
