Thank you for your request received on 5 June 2018 asking for information about the trees near 46 Holland Road, W14.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm we [do hold/ hold some of] the information you require. You asked:

Please provide information re previous 5 years inspections and their findings

The attached spreadsheet details the results of our annual tree condition survey from 2009-2017 for trees located outside No. 40 (asset Id 200100136358) and outside No. 48 (asset Id 200100136359). The most recent 2017 survey states both Planes to be in good physiological and structural condition with no reported tree faults.

From 2012-2015 various faults were recorded against both trees relating to low branches, raised roots, crowns growing close to buildings. We have raised an order to crown lift (remove the lowest branches) nine trees outside numbers 43 – 75, as all the branches are very close to windows.

The associated defects file shows defects raised against the trees, the tree outside No. 48 had a crown reduction in 2012 and the tree outside No. 40 was pruned in 2010. Both trees had their pit material toped up in 2015, the pit outside No. 48 was replenished again in 2016.
