Dear Transport for London,
I am writing to make an official request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I would like to request the following information:
1. The names of all companies contracted by Transport for London (TfL) to operate, run, and process the CCTV systems on buses, tubes, and tube stations from the year 2004 up until 2010.
2. Details of any subcontractors involved in these operations.
3. Information on whether any servers located in countries other than the United Kingdom have been used to process the CCTV images during this period.
4. Copies of the tender documents, contracts that were awarded, and the terms of service agreements between TfL and these operators.
Please provide the information in electronic format, if possible.

Our ref: FOI-0591-2425/GH Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17 May 2024 asking for information about CCTV. Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require. The information you are requesting relates to CCTV systems 14-20 years ago. Our retention period for recorded information is seven years, and therefore we no longer hold records for this time.
