Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 24 May 2023 asking for information about accessibility on public transport.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

Please see the table below for the platform depths requested:

StationLineDistance Below Ground Level (M)
Kings Cross St PancrasNorthern-27
Tottenham Court RoadCentral-25
London BridgeJubilee-25
Stratford Elizabeth4
Liverpool StreetElizabeth-35
Liverpool StreetLondon Overground-3

Please note:

  1. The data is approximate and calculated from various data sources
  2. Some stations have different entrances and thus this data may vary from those
  3. The distance from ground level is taken from a point on the surface and a mean point taken on the two platforms

Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and London Overground stations do not have sub-surface platforms.

Tottenham Court Road is step free street to train on the Elizabeth and Northern lines and step free street to platform on the Central line. A manual boarding ramp can be deployed by staff on the Central line.
