Freedom of Information request - Crossrail Passenger Numbers At Maidenhead
Request ID: FOI-0576-2021
Date published: 21 July 2020
You asked
Dear Crossrail Limited,
I wish to receive information under the FOI in respect of the increase in passenger numbers at Maidenhead railway station when Crossrail is operational.
I understand that the Crossrail business case indicates a general uplift in national rail network traffic of 61% for the lines west out of Paddington when Crossrail is operational but this isn't specific to Maidenhead.
I therefore request:
1. Detail of the absolute additional patronage expected to be created by Crossrail at Maidenhead (i.e. the number of additional passenger journeys per annum ) 2. Details of how these additional passengers will arrive at Maidenhead station from their ultimate origin (for departures) or finally conclude their journeys at (for arrivals) i.e their mode of access or egress.
3. Detail of where these additional passengers are predicted to arrive from for Crossrail travel from Maidenhead and where they are predicted to travel to when arriving at Maidenhead by Crossrail.
