Thank you for your request received on 6 July 2020 asking for information about communication with Taxi and Private Hire representatives.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked for:

Can TfL Taxi & Private Hire confirm, for week commencing 22nd June 2020:

a) What Dialogue was there between Senior Management/ Director level and Taxi and Private Hire Trade representatives?

b) Names of Taxi and Private Hire trade representatives and organisations they
represent?

c) What Dialogue was there between Senior Management/ Director level and large licensed private hire operators?

d) The names of the Operators?

Specifically, but not limited to: any direct communications, correspondence and conference calls (including Zoom, Microsoft Teams or other platforms) but excluding TPH notices

Transport for London (TfL) values its engagement with the taxi and private hire trades and increased its level of engagement throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

In the week beginning 22 June, TfL and the Deputy Mayor for Transport met with the London Taxi Drivers Association (LTDA). The attendees were:

• Heidi Alexander, Deputy Mayor for Transport
• Helen Chapman, Director of Licensing, Regulation & Charging, TfL
• Gareth Powell, Managing Director of Surface Transport, TfL
• Steve McNamara, General Secretary, LTDA
