Please find below a Freedom of Information request for the following:
1. The number of Customer Service Assistants (CSAs) Level 1 currently employed by London Underground;
2. The number of CSAs Level 2 currently employed by London Underground; and
3. A list of station areas where new CSAs Level 2 have been posted to on the London Underground during the last 24 months. Please include the numbers for each station area.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20th June 2021 asking for information about London Underground Customer Service Assistants.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Your questions are answered in turn below.
Question 1. The number of Customer Service Assistants (CSAs) Level 1 currently employed by London Underground.
Answer: 2771.
Question 2. The number of CSAs Level 2 currently employed by London Underground.
Answer: 435.
Question 3. A list of station areas where new CSAs Level 2 have been posted to on the London Underground during the last 24 months. Please include the numbers for each station area.
Answer: Please see the spreadsheet attached, which relates to the 258 staff recruited to a CSA Level 2 post in the last 2 years.
