South Croydon Cycle Lane Costs
- the total cost of the cycle lane project in south Croydon on the Brighton Road. This should include, but not limited to, the painting of thermoplastic lines and redoing the junctions at Riddlesdown Road and Sanderstead Road.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 8 June 2022 asking for information about South Croydon cycle lane (Brighton Road) project costs. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You asked: I’d like to request under the FOI act the following: - the total cost of the cycle lane project in South Croydon on the Brighton Road. This should include, but not limited to, the painting of thermoplastic lines and redoing the junctions at Riddlesdown Road and Sanderstead Road.
We do not hold the specific information you have requested as this is a scheme managed and delivered by the London Borough of Croydon. To date TfL have agreed to pay for the design of the scheme, which is around £50k, however we understand the estimated final cost of the scheme is expected to be in the region of £500k. You may wish to contact Croydon Council to request further information on the costings.
