I understand that you've just released a new version of the Big Red Book, the set of instructions or guidelines for all TFL bus drivers.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 May 2019 asking for a copy of the new version of the Big Red Book.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

Please find attached a copy of the new Big Red Book for bus drivers. Accessibility guidance has been refreshed to reflect the latest legislation and to empower drivers to assist wheelchair users more. We have provided the fifth edition to Transport for All and understand it plans to upload this on its website soon.
