I would like to request under the FOIA a copy of any reports, research, or studies (whether produced internally by TfL or commissioned from an external source) dating from any point in the past five years which explore the possibilities for improving cycling facilities (in particular, new cycleways) in the vicinity of Victoria station (and, in particular, on Victoria Street).

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2 June 2017 asking for information about cycling facilities in the vicinity of Victoria station.


Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm we do hold the information you require.


We are aware of two main schemes in the time period covered by the scope of your request.

In addition, Westminster City Council consulted on a route close to Victoria Station that also crossed Victoria Street. At present they have no plan to implement this route. However all the designs and consultation material can be found on their website at the below location:
