You asked
If you are able, can we please have the total number of students that passed the Knowledge in 2018, and of those:
o The number that were aged between 50 to 60
o The number that were aged between 61 to 70
o The number were women.
We answered
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 21 May 2019 asking for information about the people who have successfully completed the Knowledge of London.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
The information you requested for can be found in the table below. Please note that the table contains details of taxi drivers who in 2018 successfully completed the Knowledge of London; either for an all London licence (green badge) which licenses drivers to ply for hire anywhere in the Greater London Authority area, or for a suburban licence (yellow badge) which licenses drivers to ply for hire in one of nine sectors in the suburbs of the Greater London Authority area. The table does not include any yellow badge drivers who may have been licensed for an additional sector.
