You asked

There are in the Greater London region 73 Parliamentary Constituencies. I submit a FoI Request to TfL to be informed of how many of the MP's that represent those 73 Constituencies have contacted TfL regarding the regulations for the use of E-Scooters within the Greater London area and about accidents that have occurred involving pedestrians within their Constituencies. Please list those MP's who have contacted TfL on this matter. I would ask you to confine your research/response to my Request to be from 01.01.2019 to the present day

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16th June 2021 asking how many MPs have contacted TfL about E-Scooters.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 
 
Specifically you asked:
 
There are in the Greater London region 73 Parliamentary Constituencies. I submit a FoI Request to TfL to be informed of how many of the MP's that represent those 73 Constituencies have contacted TfL regarding the regulations for the use of E-Scooters within the Greater London area and about accidents that have occurred involving pedestrians within their Constituencies. Please list those MP's who have contacted TfL on this matter.”
 
On 17th June 2021 you clarified the request as follows:
 
I would ask you to confine your research/response to my request to be from 01.01.2019 to the present day”.
 
We have run an automated search of the TfL email account used for correspondence with MPs for anything mentioning the phrase “e-scooter” received from or sent to an email address containing “@parliament.uk“ since 1st January 2019 to the date of your request. This search has shown that TfL has received correspondence from the following MPs about e-scooters in that period:
 
Neil Coyle MP
Sarah Olney MP
Emily Thornberry MP
Steve Reed MP
 
Note that the Department for Transport is principally responsible for the regulation of e-scooters in the UK, and so that body may be the more likely place for receipt of correspondence about those regulations.
