New trains on Gospel Oak to Barking line

Dear Transport for London,
I would like the following information regarding the Gospel Oak to Barking line on London Overground:
1 By which date do you expect the class 710 Aventras to be in passenger service?
2 If not for the late delivery, software problems and delayed electrification, when would they have started passenger service?
3 Can you provide the audio announcements of class 172, class 378 and class 710 (if ready) on this line?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 22 May 2019 asking for information about the Gospel Oak to Barking line.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
1 By which date do you expect the class 710 Aventras to be in passenger service?
There are two CL 710 in passenger service, these entered passenger service on the 23 May 2019.
2 If not for the late delivery, software problems and delayed electrification, when would they have started passenger service?
Cl 710 were due to enter passenger service around March 2018
3 Can you provide the audio announcements of class 172, class 378 and class 710 (if ready) on this line?
London Overground announcements are recorded in fragments. We do not hold them specifically for individual trains or sections of the line. If you would like the general announcements that we hold, please provide us with your postal address as these can be sent to you on CD.
4 The timetable for when the new trains are ready
The new trains are in various states of manufacture. The order of 45 units are due to be delivered by the end of 2019
