Dear Transport for London,
Please provide any data you hold on ridership levels on the New Year's Eve night train that has run for many years from Liverpool Street Station to Enfield Town, Cheshunt and Chingford. This service sadly did not run 2022, 2022 or 2023.

If you have it, we would like to see ridership for other NYE Overground services for reason of comparison.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 21 May 2023 asking for information about West Anglia Night Train Ridership.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require, as we do not hold data detailing the ridership levels of a given train. We only keep transactional data for a short period of time and any data we could have potentially used to estimate the number of journeys undertaken using the special services listed has since been deleted due to retention rules.
