The average fine amount of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued, when any motorist has been observed driving through a bus lane without a valid exemption in 2021, 2022 and 2023 to date
As of 17 January 2022, the PCN amount for a bus lane contravention is £160 and discounted to £80 if paid within 14 days of issue. Prior to this, it was £130, reduced to £65 for payment within 14 days.
