You asked

I note in your latest released TfL expenditure that tx 1005\3000099690 of £171.35 was made to vendor "Greggs" with the assigned category of "Vehicle Running Costs" on 17th Feb 2023. I also note that a payment of £19.71 was also made to merchant "Burger King" under the same "Vehicle Running Costs" category. Please could TfL provide a breakdown of: - The number of TfL-owned or operated vehicles (distinguished by unique VRN) that have had their running supported by merchants with merchant category codes in the range of 5812-5814 encompassing the following types of merchant: - 5812: Eating Places and Restaurants - 5813: Bars, Cocktail Lounges, Discotheques, Nightclubs and Taverns–Drinking Places (Alcoholic Beverages) - 5814: Fast Food Restaurants - The nature of services provided by merchants in these categories in order to support the continued operation of TfL's fleet, for example "re-fuelling of petrol/diesel", "topping up windscreen wash", "parking" - A breakdown of the vehicle manufacturers involved (Ford, BMW, VW, etc) in transactions made to merchants with the above category codes. I would appreciate data being made available for the previous 12 months.

Thank you for your request which we received on 19 May 2023.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.

We do not hold the information you have requested. The items you questioned should have been categorised as ‘refreshments / meals at meetings’ and not as vehicle running costs. We consequently found one other item in P12 2022 which was also incorrectly categorised. We have made the corrections to the online versions so the website is now showing the corrected information.

Therefore we do not hold the information you asked for, as these items have been recategorized.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
