I would be grateful for details (but NOT costs or other commercially sensitive information) about the scope and description of accessibility works at Finsbury Park LU station including platforms to be served, new construction, passageways, interface with NR works at Finsbury Park station and approximate completion dates. A diagrammatic or plan representation would also be appreciated - if available. I shall be writing a similar request to NR for details of their separate works.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 26 May 2018 asking for information about accessibility works at Finsbury Park tube station.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

The construction scope for the Finsbury Park step free access scheme is as follows:

• 2 new lifts to serve north bound and south bound platforms

   

• The south bound platform lift will also serve a network rail platform

   

• Extension of a passageway to facilitate the step free access route

   

• Creation of a new ticket hall(Western station entrance) with SFA route to platforms

   

   

• The lifts will be brought into use and open to the public in December 2018

   

• The new ticket hall will be brought into use March 2019

   

• At completion Finsbury Park will have 4 station entrances of which two will be step free
