C9 results of groundbourne noise and vibration since train testing began
Request ID: FOI-0496-2021
Date published: 24 July 2020
You asked
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am seeking the results of groundbourne noise and vibration tests along Route Window C9 as defined in the Crossrail Environmental Statement, since the testing of trains commenced along the line.
To clarify, I am seeking the results since the testing of trains began on the line, rather than modelling done as part of the Crossrail Environmental Statement.
Thank you.
We answered

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28th June 2020 asking for information about noise and vibration testing on Crossrail.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy.

TfL does not hold the requested information as no groundbourne noise and vibration test for route window C9 (or any other part of Crossrail) have taken place.

Answering such requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. In any event, please note that our response time will be affected by the current situation.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
