Harassment & Assault for Private Hire app-based workers

You asked

Please may you provide me with: Statistics on all recorded instances of verbal abuse, physical assault, discrimination including all forms of abuse and harassment against workers for all of the private hire driving companies you license, including but not limited to the following companies: Uber, Bolt and Lyft. Please provide the information electronically and in as much detail as possible, including a topline percentage of the entire app-based workforce who have been affected.

Thank you for clarifying your request for information about harassment and assault experienced by private hire app-based workers.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. 

We do not hold the information you have requested. These incidents would typically be reported to the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) as well as to the operators employing the workers so they would hold this information.
