Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 30 May 2022, asking about ULEZ penalty charge notices (PCNs).
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:
I would like to know how many ULEZ Penalty Charge Notices were issued on 16/5/22 for vehicles driving on the A2 Rochester Way Relief Road from the M25 to the O2 and away from the O2 to the M25.
On this day there were 166 PCNs issued for non-payment of the ULEZ daily charge along this stretch of road from eight different cameras.
However, it may not be where the vehicle was first spotted in the zone as we capture multiple images and use the most clear one for issuing of the PCN. Without the exact route taken on the day we would not be able to tell where the vehicle entered the zone.
