Thank you for your email of 13^th May 2019 asking for information about the 303 bus route.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

You asked:

“I want the name of the person at TFL who is responsible for suspending the 303 bus route. Our bus stop has been closed for 9 months - causing considerable hardship. Who made that decision?”.

There is no single individual responsible for making such decisions. Rather, decisions are taken on a corporate basis with the involvement of a number of individuals in the applicable area. Ultimately the buses section of TfL sits under the remit of Gareth Powell, our Managing Director of Surface Transport, who reports to TfL’s Commissioner, Mike Brown.

If you want an explanation as to why the bus stop in question has been closed and what the future plans for the route are, then please let me know the name and/or exact location of the stop and we will pass the matter over to our Customer Experience team to look into the matter further and respond to you directly.
