How far in advance do you know of changes to the planned works outlined on the 6 month look ahead?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18 May 2018 asking for information about changes to planned works.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require.

Firstly, we have assumed that you are referring to London Underground as we publish online a six month look ahead for both station and track closures.

However, by definition, we cannot advise how long in advance we know of any changes to this information, as any such event would be due to its own circumstances. We also would not hold any recorded information regarding this. Planned works or closures can change due to a variety of reasons, and we can be aware of changes far in advance or, for example, works can overrun causing changes to only be know at the last minute.

We therefore recommend that passengers ‘check before you travel’ for the latest information by visiting www.tfl.gov.uk
