Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 May 2024 asking for information about PCNs issued against autopay accounts.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You specifically asked for: data over the previous calendar year to 15/04/24 -How many PCNs have TFL issued against autopay accounts where there's at least 1 registered vehicle -How many appeals have been received to TFL against PCNs that would fit the above criteria -Total number of disputes relating to autopay accounts/autopay related PCNs -Out of the appeals received related to the above how many were allowed/refused?
We do not hold the information you have requested - to explain further, we do not issue PCNs to autopay ‘accounts’ - we issue PCNs to vehicles that are not on an autopay account; there is no way of us knowing which vehicles we issued a PCN to were also supposed to be on an autopay account that also had one other vehicle on it.
