Request ID: FOI-0404-2223 Date published: 12 July 2022
You asked
I wish to obtain information regarding the construction of Cycleways in the current funding settlement until 24 June 2022. This follows my previous requests, 2382-2122 and 2726-2122.
On the second of these two requests I was informed that a decision might not be completed until mid-April 2022. Hoping that a decision has now been made, I would like to again make this request (2726-2122). This stated:
'One of the requirements of the current funding settlement (until 24 June 2022) is that £50m must be spent on 'healthy streets' schemes in the next four months. May I have a list of the schemes that will be funded by this £50m?'
Can I have the response to my request via email?
We answered
TfL Ref: 0404-2223
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 May 2022 asking for information about Cycleways funding.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked: One of the requirements of the current funding settlement (until 24 June 2022) is that £50m must be spent on 'healthy streets' schemes in the next four months. May I have a list of the schemes that will be funded by this £50m?
Please see below the breakdown of the £50m allocated to Healthy Streets schemes within the fourth funding period, 25 February – 24 June 2022. The allocations are for various activities (including design, construction and monitoring) depending on the scheme stage in the project life-cycle. The “Portfolio Workbank Management” line indicated with bracketed figures is negative because it represents efficiencies we intend to seek during the funding period through capital savings and other delivery timeline changes.
