You asked

I boarded a 415 bus at bricklayers Arms going towards elephant at around 7.45 am. I used a underground staff nominee pass. It was raining and the floor was wet. As the bus pulled off from the stop I slipped and fell. I was wearing a brown parka jacket, the drive and 2 passengers helped me to my feet.

We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-0395-2122

Thank you for your request of 26th May 2021 asking for CCTV footage from a 415 bus.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

I am afraid that TfL does not hold the requested information. London's bus services are operated by private bus companies on behalf of TfL. CCTV on London buses is the responsibility of the company that runs that particular service or route, and any recorded footage is held by those companies rather than TfL. If you require access to CCTV footage from a bus you should contact the company who operates that particular route. A list of all routes and the companies that operate them can be found on our website here:

As you can see, the 415 is run by Abellio London Ltd. They can be contacted by phone on 020 7788 8550 or via their website here: https://www.abellio.co.uk/contact/

If you are considering submitting a further FOI request to TfL please think carefully about whether the request is essential at this current time, as answering FOI requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. Where requests are made, please note that our response time may be impacted by the current situation.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely,
