Thank you for your email of 7th May 2019 asking for the number of complaints TfL has received about the management of Seven Sisters market since January 2013.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

Note that TfL does not manage Seven Sisters market nor does it commission any party to manage the market on its behalf.

TfL does not have data compiled that would allow us to easily answer your question as far back as 2013. We estimate that to do so would exceed the ‘appropriate limit’ of £450 set by the Freedom of Information (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004. Under section 12 of the FOI Act we are not obliged to comply with a request if we estimate that the cost of determining whether we hold the information, and then locating and retrieving it, or extracting it from other information, would exceed the appropriate limit. This is calculated at £25 per hour for every hour spent on the activities described, which equates to 18 hours work. However, we can provide data going back to 2015, which I hope will suffice. We have received a total of 10 complaints relating to the management of the market since 2015. Broken down by year received, they are as follows:
