To get CCTV footage of a bus incident that happened with a few school students in xxxx. As a year team myself and the head of year is currently investigating this incident. Allegedly, a student was attacked on the 283 to Hammersmith on xx May 2022 at around the hours of xx. Could we please have this footage as it really imperative and useful to our investigation

Thank you for your request of 18th May 2022 asking for CCTV footage from the 283 bus.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

I am afraid that TfL does not hold the requested information. London's bus services are operated by private bus companies on behalf of TfL. CCTV on London buses is the responsibility of the company that runs that particular service or route, and any recorded footage is held by those companies rather than TfL. If you require access to CCTV footage from a bus you should contact the company who operates that particular route. A list of all routes and the companies that operate them can be found on our website here:
