could I please request raw ATC data with the three-length class breakdown for the ATC located:
• along the A4 through Hammersmith and Cromwell Road / South Kensington;
• along the A501 between Edgware Road and King's Cross.
I would like to request, if possible, for the year 2019, 2023 and 2024.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on30 April 2024 asking for Automatic Traffic Counter (ATC) data.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Please see the requested data in the attached zip folder for the two locations specified: along the A4 through Hammersmith and Cromwell Road / South Kensington; and along the A501 between Edgware Road and King's Cross.
Please also see the attached map for confirmation of the locations of these assets.
Data has been provided for March 2019, 2023 and 2024. March represents a neutral month (not influenced by holidays etc, allowing fair comparisons and typical of a normal month of traffic), when all sensors were operational.
As this is raw data please be aware that there may be slight gaps in the data due to outages.
The class category is not available for ATCs 292 and 293 in 2019.
Where the class is available they are defined as : Class is defined by vehicle length: Class 1 refers to <5.2m, Class 2 is 5.2m – 12.0m and Class 3 is >12.0m.
