Thank you for your email received by us on 18 May 2017 asking for information about collisions on Oxford Street in 2015/16 and 2016/17.

A breakdown of all accidents involving all private hire vehicles specifically non bus and LTI taxis for 2015/16 and 2016

In addition the London Collision Map plots all recorded personal injury road traffic collisions in the London area, including Oxford Street, giving a brief description and casualty details. Data is available from 2005 to 2015 on our website:

Data is recorded by the police in accordance with Department for Transport (DfT) guidelines which require collisions involving taxi and private hire vehicles to be reported by the police as a single category.
